What we believe

Most people are not broken. They are disconnected from the signals their own body keeps sending.

Our work is to close that gap — first inside the person in front of us, then inside the people they go on to guide. That is why we train facilitators rather than only running experiences.

A movement for healing and human potential

Five things that hold this together

01

Science and spirit, together

Ancient somatic wisdom held to modern research. Every practice we teach is trauma-informed, tested in real rooms with real people, and explained in language a nervous system can follow.

02

Taught by practitioners

More than twenty specialists — breath, body, energy, psychology, trauma — who still work with clients every week. You learn from people who are in the room, not only in the books.

03

Healing for everyone

Some people come to build a practice and guide others. Some come only for themselves. Both belong here, and both are served by the same method.

04

A community that stays

Graduates in more than fifty countries, mentoring circles, live calls and a directory that keeps facilitators findable long after the training ends.

05

A record you can check

Accredited by the CMA and CPD, member school of the International Breathwork Foundation, and rated 4.8 from over 500 public reviews.

The founder

Alexis Alcalá

Creator of the Holosomatic® Method

Twelve years of practice across Breathwork, Bodywork and Energy Activation, spent bridging scientific understanding with spiritual wisdom so that ancient practices stay usable in modern lives.

Honoured with the Transformational Leadership in Complementary Medicine Award from The Complementary Medical Association (2025), for leadership in holistic and integrative practice.

“I want to solve the global disconnect between people and their inner signals, so they can live as their real selves and help others do the same.”

How the method was born

Four chapters, one long question

Why can a person understand everything about their pain and still carry it? The answer took a decade to find, and it was not in the mind.

Chapter one

From corporate disconnection to the body

Alexis Alcalá spent his early career in the corporate world, where disconnection quietly became health problems. Therapy and coaching gave him understanding, but understanding alone never reached the place the pain was living.

Somatic work did. Not as a concept, but as an experience: breath, touch, sensation, release. He rebuilt his relationship with his own body, and found healing that conventional medicine had not been able to offer him.

If you cannot connect with your body, you cannot heal. It is that simple.

Chapter two

Learning from masters, refusing to copy them

He trained with some of the most respected mentors in the field, moving through traditions that each explored the relationship between breath, body, emotion and consciousness.

Rather than adopting one school whole, he treated every lineage as a place to study: its strengths, its blind spots, and what actually held up in front of a living person in distress.

Deep healing happens when we stop trying to understand with the mind and start feeling with the body.

Chapter three

A synthesis becomes a method

What emerged was not a copy of any tradition but a synthesis: somatic awareness, trauma-informed principles and energetic sensitivity woven into one coherent sequence.

That synthesis became the Holosomatic® Method — breath to open, body to release, energy to integrate — a complete arc rather than three separate practices stacked together.

The body was never the obstacle. It was the doorway the whole time.

Chapter four

A global movement

In 2018, after guiding thousands of people through these experiences, Alexis founded InnerCamp to carry the method beyond a single pair of hands.

Since then InnerCamp has trained more than 2,500 facilitators and reached hundreds of thousands of people — in city retreats, nature retreats, live online rooms and professional trainings across the world.

Our mission is to bring the Holosomatic® Method into daily life, empowering millions to heal and unlock their potential.

Become a facilitator

Three doors into the same method
